Beginning on May 2, Domingo Hindoyan conducts Rossini's masterful Semiramide at Opéra national de Lorraine. The performances, which also take place on May 4, 7, 9 & 11, feature Salome Jicia in the title role, with Franco Fagioli as Arsace, Nahuel Di Pierro as Assur, and Inna Jeskova sings Azema. Nicola Raab sets the stage for the powerful story, with set designs by Madeleine Boyd.
Mr. Hindoyan had a recent success leading another Rossini work - Il turco in Italia - for Bergen National Opera. Watch the entire production via the following link.
