Domingo Hindoyan goes back to his roots, his native Venezuela, for a concert with Sonya Yoncheva at the Teatro Teresa Carreño in Caracas on April 6, 2024. Maestro Hindoyan, the superstar soprano and the Orquesta Sinfónica Simón Bolívar de Venezuela will present a fascinating program that includes music by Richard Wagner (Prelude and orchestra version of Liebestod from Tristan und Isolde, Overture and "Dich, teure Halle" from Tannhäuser), Antonín Dvořák’s “Song to the Moon” from Rusalka, Giuseppe Verdi’s “Pace, pace mio Dio” from La forza del destino, while the second part is entirely devoted to Giacomo Puccini: “La Tregenda” and “Se come voi piccina” from Le Villi, “Un bel dì vedremo” from Madama Butterfly, “O mio babbino caro” from Gianni Schicchi, and “Vissi d’arte” from Tosca.
