Tonkünstler Orchester – Musikverein Vienna

After his critically acclaimed Grafenegg concert in 2022, Domingo Hindoyan returns to lead the Tonkünstler Orchester on April 5 and 6 at the Musikverein Vienna, followed by a performance at the Festspielhaus St. Pölten on April 7. The program explores themes of the New World, beginning with Puerto Rican composer Roberto Sierra’s Sinfonia No.6, which blends the energy of urban life with the raw power of a hurricane. Next comes Alberto Ginastera’s Concierto Argentino for piano and orchestra, featuring Macedonian pianist Simon Trpčeski as the soloist. The evening concludes with Antonín Dvořák’s most celebrated work, Symphony No. 9, "From the New World", a timeless homage to the United States.
