On April 27 and 30, 2023, Domingo Hindoyan conducts the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall in a program including Manuel de Falla’s Suite 1 and 2 from The Three-Cornered Hat, Sergey Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3, with pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason, and Igor Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring, On May 11, the Venezuelan-born conductor leads again the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, of which he has been Chief Conductor since the 2021/2022 season, in a program entitled “Dream Team” featuring Hector Berlioz’s Overture to Roman Carnival, Henri Tomasi’s Trumpet Concerto, the world premiere of Pacho Flores’s Albares, Concerto for Flugelhorn, and Rachmaninov’s Symphony No. 3. Venezuelan trumpeter Pacho Flores performs in his own piece as well as the Tomasi Concerto.
