Domingo Hindoyan returns to Liverpool with Liszt, Strauss, and Hindemith

On October 30, 2025, Domingo Hindoyan returns to Liverpool to lead the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in a powerful and richly varied program. The evening opens with Paul Hindemith’s Concert Music for Strings and Brass, a work of striking sonorities and rhythmic drive. Rising star pianist Mariam Batsashvili then joins the orchestra as soloist in Franz Liszt’s virtuosic Piano Concerto No. 2, a tour de force of dazzling pianism and lyrical depth. To crown the concert, Hindoyan conducts Richard Strauss’s monumental Also sprach Zarathustra, whose iconic opening fanfare and sweeping orchestral landscapes promise a thrilling conclusion.
