On June 9, 2023, Domingo Hindoyan conducts a new production of Giacomo Puccini's Turandot staged by Emmanuelle Bastet for the Opéra National du Rhin first at the Opéra de Strasbourg and subsequently at La Filature of Mulhouse, for a total of eight performances running through July 4. The cast includes Elisabeth Teige as the titular Princess, Arturo Chacón-Cruz as Calaf, Adriana Gonzalez as Liù, Mischa Schelomianski as Timur, Alessio Arduini as Ping, Gregory Bonfatti as Pong, Eric Huchet as Pang, Andrei Maksimov as Mandarino and Raúl Gimenez as Altoum.
Turandot is the opera that served as Domingo Hindoyan’s debut at the Vienna State Opera in 2019.
